Amedei a boutique family chocolate maker from Pontedera, Tuscany is the creation of Cecilia Tessieri, the first female maître (master) chocolatier in the world and her brother Alessio Tessieri. Their chocolate is known and loved worldwide for its smooth texture and full-bodied flavor. Cecilia and Alessio come from a long line of confectioners and their expertise has not gone unnoticed. Amedei has won numerous awards worldwide, including the Chocolate Academy of London's prestigious "Golden Bean" award four times.
